Book-A-Thon: A Collaborative Initiative for Education and Empowerment.

Embarked on a transformative journey, the collaborative efforts of Chidagni Foundation, Swamitra Charitable Trust, Naya Savera Foundation, and HDFC Bank converged in the ongoing Book-A-Thon campaign.

This initiative spanned across 350+ HDFC branches in Delhi NCR, aiming to support an equal number of budget schools. This strategic alliance designated Swamitra Charitable Trust as the Knowledge and Training partner and Naya Savera Foundation as the Outreach Partner.

The Book-A-Thon was a heartwarming mission to collect books for underprivileged children in the Delhi NCR area, inviting individuals to contribute and shape new narratives in young minds' lives. The call to action was simple - visit your nearest HDFC Branch in Delhi NCR and be a part of this community-driven initiative, collectively illuminating the lives of underprivileged children through the magic of books.

We received an overwhelming response in the form of varierty of books using which Learning corners will be created in budget schools.


Build Learning Corner in 350+ budget schools in Delhi NCR by leveraging the books received in Book-A-Thon campaign from 350+ HDFC Bank branches.

The initiative, launched on February 15, 2024, focuses on establishing learning corners in over 350 schools in the NCR region.

These corners will feature accessible book collections, resourceful display boards, DIY learning aids, multifunctional furniture, and interactive learning tools. The goal is to prioritize affordability without compromising functionality, ensuring an engaging space that encourages independent exploration and curiosity among students.

Through careful implementation, these initiatives aim to transform the learning experience for budget school students.
Project Shiksha-Varan

Project Samarambh, led by Chidagni Foundation with partners Swamitra Charitable Trust and Naya Savera Foundation for underprivileged children in budget schools in country.

Primary aim of project is to partner with schools in States/Cities to supplement Health & Hygiene initiatives. Health to include Physical, Mental, Social and Spiritual health.

Provide necessary support to schools through books & workshops, resource (Human, Financial and Physical) management, facilitating legal recognition, building brand value in community/city/country

Enabling self-sustainable, socially responsible budget/community schools where children have all the necessary access and environment to flourish and excel.
